Searching for water in Dar the reason why I love @instagram :)

‘What if I went searching for water through pictures?’

I’m on Instagram. I’ve been taking photographs a little bit more recently and it’s been a lot of fun.  I love it because I’m not a professional photographer but with Instagram I can still take pictures for the world to see without being judged. Please do not take this as a marketing campaign. It’s not!

We’ve been experiencing water shortage recently here in Dar (Dar es salaam, Tanzania) so this morning I woke up and just thought ‘what if I take pictures about searching for water?’.

Great idea!

I jumped off my bed and I could already visualize the shots. The great thing about the brain is that everything always looks perfect; the depth , colours, perspective, composition it all looks better than watching the Mad Hatter in 3D (Johnny Depp Alert :)).

Armed with my mobile camera and trainers I went out looking for shots. The idea was to capture anything (places, people, things)  that I felt answered my question. The result – here’s a few :
